Recruiter आपका Resume 6 सेकंड में देखता है
हर job posting पर सैकड़ों resumes आते हैं। एक recruiter के पास इतना समय नहीं होता कि वो हर resume को ध्यान से पढ़े। पहले 6 सेकंड में वो सिर्फ यह देखता है — क्या यह resume साफ़ है? क्या skills match हो रही हैं? क्या format readable है? अगर इन तीनों का जवाब हाँ है, तभी वो आगे पढ़ता है।
आपका resume आपकी जगह बोलता है — इसे सही बोलना सिखाएं।
ATS — वो Robot जो पहले आपका Resume पढ़ता है
बड़ी IT कंपनियाँ एक software use करती हैं जिसे Applicant Tracking System (ATS) कहते हैं। यह software automatically resumes को scan करता है और keywords, format, और structure के आधार पर shortlist करता है। अगर आपका resume ATS-friendly नहीं है, तो वो किसी human recruiter तक पहुँचेगा ही नहीं।

अपना Resume ऐसे बनाएं — Step by Step
सही Format चुनें
Freshers के लिए हमेशा Reverse Chronological format best होता है। 1 page का resume रखें — recruiter को 2 page पढ़ना पसंद नहीं। MS Word या Google Docs में बनाएं, किसी fancy online tool में नहीं।
Contact Information
सबसे ऊपर अपना पूरा नाम (बड़े font में), professional email (name@gmail.com format), mobile number, LinkedIn profile URL, और GitHub link (अगर है तो) डालें। WhatsApp number या fancy email IDs avoid करें।
Professional Summary (3-4 lines)
यह section recruiter पहले पढ़ता है। लिखें: आप कौन हैं, आपकी core skills क्या हैं, और आप क्या हासिल करना चाहते हैं। Example: 'B.Tech Computer Science graduate with strong foundation in Java and SQL. Seeking entry-level software developer role where I can contribute to backend development.'
Technical Skills Section
इसे categories में organize करें: Programming Languages, Frameworks, Databases, Tools। सिर्फ वो skills लिखें जो आप actually जानते हों — interview में पूछा जाएगा। Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced की rating मत डालें।
Projects (Freshers के लिए सबसे Important)
Experience नहीं है तो projects ही आपकी पहचान हैं। हर project में लिखें: project का नाम, किन technologies का use किया, क्या बनाया, और GitHub link। College projects भी valid हैं।
Education Section
B.Tech/BCA/MCA की degree, college name, passing year, और percentage/CGPA लिखें। 10th और 12th भी include करें। Backlogs हैं तो mention मत करें — interview में पूछें तो honestly बताएं।
Review और Final Check
Grammarly से spelling check करें। किसी friend या mentor को पढ़ाएं। PDF में save करके देखें कि format सही है। File name: FirstName_LastName_Resume.pdf रखें।
ये गलतियाँ आपका Resume Reject करवाती हैं
Objective Statement पुरानी हो गई है
'I want to work in a reputed company' जैसी lines recruiter को boring लगती हैं। इसकी जगह एक sharp Professional Summary लिखें।
Responsibilities लिखना, Achievements नहीं
सिर्फ यह मत लिखें कि आपने क्या किया। लिखें कि आपने क्या हासिल किया। Projects में outcome mention करें।
एक ही Resume सबको भेजना
हर job के लिए resume में उस job description के keywords add करें। Generic resume ATS में fail हो जाता है।
Fake Skills और Certificates
Resume में वो skills मत डालें जो आपको आती नहीं। Interview में पकड़े जाएंगे और permanently blacklist हो सकते हैं।
Poor Email Address
cooldude123@gmail.com या cutegirl2001@yahoo.com professional नहीं लगता। एक simple firstname.lastname@gmail.com बनाएं।
Photo डालना (Indian IT Companies)
Most IT companies photo-based discrimination avoid करती हैं। Resume पर photo मत डालें जब तक specifically न माँगा जाए।
Spelling और Grammar Errors
एक भी spelling mistake recruiter को signal देती है कि आप detail-oriented नहीं हैं। हमेशा Grammarly use करें।
References Available on Request
यह line space waste है। कोई recruiter पहले से references नहीं माँगता। इसे हटाएं।
